Buckinghamshire Business First’s Solution to Your Business Issues

09/11/21 | Park News

Business Owners often come across challenges whilst running a business. Getting input, ideas and a new perspective from other business owners can be game changing.  Buckinghamshire Business First has a new and unique approach to business support that sees leaders grouping together to solve commonly shared problems and challenges, allowing them to get valuable support from others who are running businesses in similar conditions.

Following the success of the first programme last year, Buckinghamshire Business First are delighted that a further Peer Networks Programme will be running through to March 2022, enabling many more business leaders to discover the benefits of this approach.

The Programme creates diverse cohort groups of individuals to collaboratively work through common business issues. By joining and completing Peer Networks, businesses will learn practical solutions to overcome challenges; recognise and act on new opportunities; build a trusted network of connections to support businesses now and in the future; and improve their long-term personal and business performance.

We would like to invite you to join a Peer Network group specifically set up for businesses based on the Westcott and Silverstone business parks, where you will get the opportunity to collaborate, bounce ideas around and learn from other like-minded business leaders.

“The businesses that were put together were brilliant in helping one another in different ways. Their experience shone through, and everyone respected each other’s time and comments. I just wanted to say thank you for your time and efforts over the programme! I have taken so much from it, both personally and professionally.” – Anna Brown, Walk This Way Podiatry.

Philippa Batting, Managing Director of Buckinghamshire Business First, said: “from finance and HR to sales, marketing and more, expert facilitators will give participants the flexibility to create a trusted local support network that works for them, helping to build and strengthen businesses and improve their overall performance. This programme is for SME leaders or senior managers that want to grow and develop their organisation for future success, enabling them to make connections that go far beyond networking.”

The programme is available to any SME business that has operated for at least one year, has five or more employees (or over two if the reduction is as a result of the pandemic), a turnover of at least £100,000 and is based in Buckinghamshire.
